What is health?

Health is the English synonym of health. Scholars have defined this word Health differently, and have seen it from a perspective. But the World Health Organization has defined health as such. "The name of a balanced surface of physical, mental, psychological, spiritual and social correctness is health and not sickness". But we almost only see health by linking it to disease. But health is not just the name of the absence of diseases. We must be knowledgeable about multifaceted health. We will talk about it in detail.

Physical Fitness (Physical Health)

Physical health refers to the state of the body. When all the internal and external organs, tissues, cells of the bodywork properly because they should work. It includes body structure, development, functioning, and maintenance. It is also the level of function and ability of an organism to be fit for daily work. Such as hearing, twitching, walking, visualization, and other common activities. The following are the criteria to ensure good physical health.
1. Activity - Strength, flexibility, and endurance.
2. Deep sleep with balanced diet

Mental health (Mental Health)

Mental health refers to our emotional, psychological, and social well-being. It affects how we think, feel, and work. It also helps to demarcate how we handle stress. How to treat and meet others. During life, if we experience mental health problems. So your thinking, mood, and behavior can be affected. Following are the ways to keep it good

Spiritual Health (Spiritual Health)

However, there is no scale to define spiritual healthBut we can say that our good health is incomplete without being spiritually healthy. Because searching for the meaning and purpose of life makes us spiritual. Rich spiritual health reflects our personal feelings and values, such as happiness, meaning, harmony, purpose, hope, strength, and inner peace in our life. There are some ways to keep it good.
1. For this, we have to give up the attachment to material things.
2. You have to know yourself because the soul knowing and experiencing itself will always be calm and pure.
3. Having brotherhood with them without being influenced by other creatures, your actions will be advanced.
4. Maintain positive energy communication that can remove evil thoughts.

c (Intellectually Health)

It is the cognitive ability to develop skills and knowledge to enhance the life of anyone. It has shown an individual's ability to think critically, question them, focus on current events, and develop creative ways to adapt to unexpected obstacles. Those who are intellectually healthy are resourceful. They maintain an open mind and demonstrate the ability to see issues from many different perspectives.
1. Do not be subjected to greed and be capable of facing problems and seeking intellectual solutions.
2. Do not be under self-control, fear, anger, fascination, jealousy, guilt, and anxiety.
3. Be courteous in all manner of behavior and keep in mind the needs of others.
4. Openness to new ideas and high emotional temper.
5. Those who explain, can accept criticism and do not get upset easily.

Social Health (Social Health)

Social health involves your ability to satisfy interpersonal relationships with others. Because we are social animals. Being socially accepted by all is linked to our positive prosperity.
1. Develop relationships with others.
2. Establish a sense of identity.
3. To do social welfare work to the best of our ability
4. Make constant efforts to bring happiness to the family and society.
We all need good health. It is not confined to any particular religion, caste, community, or gender. Most people do not understand the importance of good health and even if they understand it, they are ignoring it. Whenever we talk about health, our focus is only on physical health. We do not pay attention to the other dimensions. Therefore, we must think about these essential things.

Concept Of Health:- The World Health Organization (WHO) defines health as a “state of complete physical, mental, and social well-being, not merely the absence of disease or infirmity” (WHO, 1947).

Concept Of Health An understanding of health is the basis of all the health care.  Health is not perceived the same way by all the members of a community including various professional groups (like biomedical scientists, social scientists, health administrators, ecologists) giving rise to confusion about the concept of health.

 Health has evolved over the centuries from the concept of individual concern to a worldwide social goal.

1. Biomedical concept • Traditionally health has been considered as an absence of the diseases and if someone was free from disease, then that person was considered healthy. • This concept is known as the biomedical concept, and it is based on the “germ theory of the disease.”
  Health means “absence of disease.” • The medical profession viewed the human body as a machine and disease is an outcome of the breakdown of the machine, and one of the doctor’s tasks was to repair the machine. • This concept has minimized the role of the environment, social and cultural determinants of health.
 Developments in medical and social sciences led to the conclusion that the biomedical concept of health was inadequate

Ecological Concept Deficiencies in the biomedical concept gave rise to other concepts. • The ecologists put forward the concept of ecological concept. • Ecologists viewed health as a dynamic equilibrium between man and his environment, and the disease as a maladjustment of the human organism to the environment.

 3. Psychosocial Concept Advances in social sciences showed that health is not only a biomedical phenomenon, but one which is influenced by social, psychological, cultural, economic, and political factors of the people concerned. •These factors must be taken into consideration in defining and measuring health. •Thus health is both a biological and social phenomenon

4. Holistic Concept The holistic model is a synthesis of all the above concepts. •Holistic concept recognizes the strength of social, economic, political, and environmental influences on health. •It has been variously described as a multidimensional process involving the wellbeing of the person as a whole. •The emphasis is on the promotion and protection of health. 

The holistic approach implies that all sectors of the society have an effect on health, in particular, agriculture, animal husbandry, food, industry, education, housing, public works, and other sectors.

Biological Concepts of Health:

Biological Concepts of Health, will define the physiology of the individual as the biological foundation of health, and focus on selected studies of health and illness in the adult human. Students will derive an understanding of the biological foundation of their own health as an adult and will be encouraged to expand the concepts and processes of individual health to human populations, animals, and the environment. Through lectures, laboratories, small group seminars, and an interdisciplinary group project, students will gain an introduction to research in the health sciences
